Rick Benson is an aerospace expert in ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP’s global defense business, leading the firm’s comprehensive support of the F-35 Joint Program Office. Rick and his team provide deep subject matter expertise in engineering, lifecycle logistics and sustainment, enterprise data management, analytics, and Agile/DevSecOps to deliver cutting-edge solutions for the warfighter. In his role, Rick also is responsible for coordinating cross-cutting F-35 market activity across the firm.
Prior to joining ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP, Rick was the deputy director for Dynamics Research Corporation’s Washington, DC, operations center, managing support for the Air Force, Navy, Army, and Missile Defense Agency in areas ranging from strategic planning and business process engineering to information systems and policy development.
Rich is a retired Air Force officer who started his career as an aerospace physiology specialist supporting flight test operations such as the space shuttle recovery. He retired from the military as a supply officer supporting Air Staff and NATO commands.
A lifetime member of the Air Force Logistics Officers Association, Rick holds an M.S. in logistics management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a B.S. in applied mathematics from Chapman College.Â
