Shannon Fitzgerald is ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP’s chief strategy officer and a member of the firm's Leadership Team. She leads the company’s growth strategy including corporate strategy, portfolio shaping, strategic growth initiatives, and long-range strategic planning. She plays a significant role in mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and firm-level investments and ensures ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP and its corporate portfolio are aligned and positioned to serve the unique missions of our government and commercial clients.Â
Shannon began her career at ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP and has over 25 years of experience in modernizing and transforming organizations. Before her current role, Shannon led our domestic resilience and citizen services businesses. Her clients included homeland security, law enforcement, finance, energy, transportation, health, and economic development agencies. She led some of government’s largest strategic transformation initiatives and commercial-sector technology integrations. Prior to that, Shannon led an internal innovation team that incubated new solutions using emerging technology and architected new businesses and ventures.Â
As a recognized expert in transformation and change management, Shannon is an instructor for the Change Management Advanced Practitioner course at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. She is also an advisory council member for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.Â
Shannon holds a B.S. in business and operations management from Towson University.
