Will Healy is a senior leader in ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP’s solutions business with a focus on the recreation management space. Based out of our Denver office, Will oversees ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP’s support of the Recreation.gov program and expanding opportunities and other alternative business models.
Throughout his career, Will has used his expertise in problem solving to tackle complex challenges in environmental policy, emergency preparedness, transportation security, and systems development. His past clients include the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Coast Guard, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and the government of Singapore.Â
Prior to ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP, Will worked as a civilian for the U.S. Navy, where he started his career designing early-stage submarines. At the Supervisor of Diving and Salvage, he provided engineering and program management support for planning and operations of marine salvage projects around the world, such as deep ocean recovery, towing, oil pollution, and ship rescue. Will was certified as a basic diving officer and a salvage officer through the Navy Diving and Salvage Training Center. He supported the salvage of TWA Flight 800, the towing of the USS Missouri to Pearl Harbor, and the sailing of the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides).Â
Will holds a B.S. in naval architecture and marine engineering from the Webb Institute of Naval Architecture.
