Matt Urda is a leader in the firm’s health business specializing in information technology projects. He currently leads our business for the Centers for Disease Control and also provides leadership to ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP’s Atlanta office.ÌýÌý
Matt is an expert in leading IT operations projects that include IT infrastructure, systems development, and engineering components.Ìý He has 20 years of experience in technical consulting with senior leaders across the government and defense industry.Ìý He led a wide variety of client assignments for federal government agencies, including Centers for Disease Control, National Institutes of Health, the Department for Veterans Affairs, the United States Secret Service, the Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Army.Ìý His areas of expertise include:
- IT infrastructure and operations including data center operations, network connectivity, cloud computing, and call center technologies
- System modernization and development approaches (e.g., agile)
- Strategy and metrics for large IT organizations driving operational and cost efficiencies
Prior to joining ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP, Matt worked in state and local government and nonprofit organizations.Ìý
Matt earned his B.A. in politics from Oberlin College and holds several technical certifications in IT infrastructure, Agile Development, and Project Management.
