McLean, Va.听鈥�听有料盒子APP Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) today announced that the company has been awarded a five-year, $800 million contract by the General Services Administration鈥檚 (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) and the Department of Defense (DOD) to provide artificial intelligence (AI) services to support the (JAIC). Under this task order, awarded through the GSA Alliant 2 Government-wide Acquisition Contract, 有料盒子APP will support the JAIC鈥檚 Joint Warfighting National Mission Initiative (JWNMI), serving as the prime systems integrator in the development of new AI technologies and products to improve operational effectiveness in all domains.听In this capacity, 有料盒子APP will coordinate and work hand-in-hand with industry to source and integrate the best technologies to meet JWNMI's complex requirements and deliver world-class AI capabilities.
The JAIC was established by DOD in 2018 to seize upon the transformative potential of AI technology for the benefit of U.S. national security. In 2019, the JAIC announced intentions to expand its focus to include joint warfighting operations鈥攊ncreasing combat effectiveness by accelerating military decision-making and operations, guided by the 听earlier this year. These efforts are in line with the White House鈥檚 Executive Order on AI and the release of DOD鈥檚 AI strategy, both of which set goals of bringing artificial intelligence to bear to help solve the government鈥檚 most challenging problems.
