Charles Rossotti joined ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓAPP’s board in 2008 and has served as a senior advisor to The Carlyle Group since 2003. Prior to this role, Charles served as the commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service from 1997 to 2002. Charles also co-founded American Management Systems, Inc., an international business and information technology consulting firm in 1970, and served at various times as president, CEO, and chairman of the board until 1997.
Charles currently serves as a director for Accelerated Learning Inc., Unison Corporation, Abrigo Corporation, where he chairs the audit committee, and Capital Partners for Education, where he chairs the development committee. Charles formerly served as a director of Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.; Bank of America Corporation; Compusearch Software Systems; Wall Street Institute; Apollo Global; Quorum Management Solutions; Carlyle Select Trust; Primatics Financial; ECi Software Solutions; The AES Corporation, where he also served as chairman of the board; Coalfire Systems Inc.; and Novetta Solutions LLC.
Charles is a member of the Audit Committee.
